Canada needs a vision of energy and climate change that recognizes the interdependency of Canadian and U.S. energy systems, encourages continuous improvement of environmental performance, and drives technology development. This vision should not adversely affect North American trade relations or create regional disparities.
Join the Chamber of Commerce and the Canada West Foundation as they present T. Boone Pickens, who will discuss how Canada and the US can reduce carbon emissions, improve environmental performance and attain energy security by developing the technology and infrastructure needed to tap into North American unconventional natural gas supplies.
This event, co-presented by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and the Canada West Foundation is a part of the ENMAX Changing the Climate policy and event series, which brings together the business community, a leading public policy institute, and international thought leaders to explore themes of energy and environmental stewardship to shape our new energy environment.
