Calgary Technologies Inc. (CTI)
CTI offers programs, services and resources designed to help you build your small to medium sized company by setting you up for success. CTI’s programs can link you to various sources of financing and connect you with business experts who can help identify and address the challenges of your company’s growth. They connect you to the right people with the right resources at the right time to enhance business to business contact beyond Alberta’s borders and promote innovation. CTI developed and maintains the Cleantechnologies.ca website.
CETAC-WEST is a private sector, not-for-profit corporation committed to helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) engaged in the CleanTech Sector. Established in 1994 by Environment Canada, CETAC-WEST delivers its services to SMEs in the four western provinces through its office in Calgary. The corporation has formed linkages between technology producers, industry experts, and investment sources to facilitate this process. In the eleven years it has been operating, CETAC-WEST has reviewed over 400 project opportunities throughout Western Canada.
Climate Change Central is a non-profit organization that empowers Albertans to take action on climate change through consumer rebate programs, demonstration projects and educational outreach. The organization has also been instrumental in the collective effort of developing a provincial carbon market, the first in Canada.
Calgary Economic Development (CED)
Calgary Economic Development (CED) strives to make Calgary the undisputed choice for people and business. As Calgaryýs lead economic development agency, we work with businesses to facilitate growth, expedite local, national and international business investment and trade development opportunities and promote sustainable economic growth in the Calgary region.
Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada (PTAC)
PTAC is a not-for-profit association that facilitates collaborative research and technology development to improve the financial, environmental and safety performance of the Canadian hydrocarbon energy industry. PTAC brings stakeholders together to identify areas where R&D will make a difference, and to launch specific projects to address these problems or opportunities. PTAC promotes industry participation in the resulting R&D and assists with securing funding from a variety of sources.
Alberta Centre for Advanced MNT Products (ACAMP)
ACAMP is a not for profit organization that provides specialized services to micro nano technology clients. Clients have access to world-class equipment, facilities, expertise and a network of organizations that support and develop micro and nano technology devices, advanced materials and manufacturing worldwide. ACAMP’s services encompass key areas identified as critical for the commercialization of MNT products – Marketing & Business Development, Product Development, Packaging and Assembly, Test and Characterization.
A cornerstone of Alberta’s Water for Life strategy is that “Knowledge of Alberta’s water supply and quality is the foundation for effective decision-making”. However, access to and sharing of water related information and knowledge still remains one of the most significant challenges to the development of responsible water management plans and policies, as well as the protection of our watersheds. In response to this challenge, Alberta WaterSMART and our partners have developed a suite of services to provide information and support for companies in Alberta.
